LQ Commercial has announced that Sushi Masa, a Louisiana-based, all-you-can-eat sushi, sashimi and hibachi experience, has leased the 6,723-square-foot freestanding restaurant at 738 S.W. Pine Island Road in Cape Coral.
Sushi Masa is rapidly expanding its immersive experience throughout the South, growing to 13 locations since 2010. Cape Coral will be Florida’s fourth destination – also in Pensacola, Lakeland and Tampa.

Flutterbuy Books & More in Cape to hold author signing Aug. 15
Flutterbuy Books & More in Cape Coral is hosting an author signing with award-winning Naples author Caryn Hacker-Buechel on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 1 p.m. Hacker-Buechel will be signing copies of her acclaimed romantic military thriller, “The General’s Princess,” a gripping novel that explores themes of courage, resilience, human trafficking, and international military rescue operations.
This free event offers attendees the opportunity to meet the author, hear the inspiration behind her award-winning novel, and purchase personally signed copies. The book’s authentic military elements were co-authored with retired Army Brigadier Gen. Ed Dyer, who may also make a special appearance at the event.

Arthrex’s Lewis to speak at next REIS meeting
Join the Real Estate Investment Society on Tuesday, Aug. 11, to hear from Arthrex about its approach to workforce housing. The program will begin at 11:45 a.m. in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, 9802 Pelican Preserve Blvd., Fort Myers.
