A multi-week event where future and current Southwest Florida homeowners can get an up-close-and-personal look at some of the region’s residential builders continues this weekend.

The Cape Coral Construction Industry Association’s 2026 Builders’ Showcase of Homes keeps rolling this Friday, as 22 of the Cape’s best creators and designers display 32 different models for prospective buyers, or just anyone, to tour over three weekends.

Model homes will be open to the public Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as the weekend of Jan. 30.

“Overall, it was a remarkable beginning to the Showcase of Homes,” said CCCIA Executive Director Wade Kundinger of the event’s first weekend. “A couple builders reported that Friday was the biggest opening day since they started putting homes in the showcase over 20 years ago. Another builder commented that Saturday and Sunday saw non-stop traffic and tremendous attendance. In fact, this particular builder is working with four new clients that want to build in the Cape. That is what we want to hear. I am so proud of these builders and their teams, they work extremely hard during the Showcase of Homes trifecta of weekends.”

Touring hours for the 30th annual showcase, presented this year by IncredibleBank, are noon to 5 p.m. all three days. All of the home models are in Cape Coral, varying in location from northwest to southeast and in-between.

“I am getting reports of waves of people coming into the show from noon until well after 5 p.m. when we close,” Kundinger said. ” Again, this is good and it’s so well deserved.  During the judging phase on Jan. 9 and 10, it was sometimes difficult to get the judges to leave the homes and stay on schedule. That says it all. The judges had a ball and the public will as well.”

This showcase is more than a home tour — it’s an opportunity to witness the pinnacle of design and innovation in modern living. Visitors can explore properties ranging from elegant custom builds to cutting-edge smart homes, each reflecting the latest trends in architecture, sustainable materials and advanced home technology. Whether you’re a first-time buyer, upgrading your lifestyle or envisioning a serene waterfront retirement estate, the event caters to every aspiration and budget.

With prices ranging from under $300,000 to $10 million, the homes offer something for every taste, from cozy retreats to expansive estates. Buyers also have the unique opportunity to collaborate with CCCIA builders who can tailor designs to suit individual needs and preferences.

Whether you’re looking for your forever home, just wanting to see what’s out there, or wondering what’s being offered, the Showcase of Homes is a great weekend out for any who has the chance to experience it.

It’s also a great opportunity for builders to show off their skills.

“These builders, contractors and team members are true professionals,” Kundinger said. “There are no high-pressure sales going on in these homes. The homes stand and speak for themselves.  It’s truly a relaxed atmosphere that will get the prospective buyer excited about what can be done, what is possible, what is new and what is available in the best city in Southwest Florida. If you can dream it, they can build it.”

The CCCIA’s Builders’ Showcase of Homes awards presentation took place last Thursday at La Venezia Ballroom to recognize those who stood out among the best.
