Bricks & Sticks Golf Tournament raises more than $3,000 for Lee BIA Builders Care
Lee Building Industry Association’s Bricks & Sticks golf tournament recently raised more than $3,000 to support Lee BIA Builders Care.
The golf tournament took place Sept. 19 at Spring Run Golf Club in Bonita Springs. Trademark Roofing came in first place and Gulf Coast Nail and Staple came in second.
Funds from the event will support the nonprofit in its mission of providing emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners, and their families, who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means in Lee County.
“We are so grateful to Lee BIA for hosting the event and to all of the sponsors, community supporters and participants in this year’s tournament,” said Leigh Cloud, executive director of Lee BIA Builders Care. “This event would not have been possible without everyone’s support. With these funds, we can continue providing individuals and families in Lee County with necessary home repairs and adaptations so they can feel safe and live comfortably in their own homes.”
This year’s presenting sponsor was Siesta Pebble. Additional sponsors included All About Closets, All Star Equipment Rentals and Sales, Brand 1 Ink, Cape Coral Plumbing, Christopher Alan Homes, Compass Construction, Crews Environmental, D.R. Horton, Fuse Specialty Appliances, GCG Construction, GMA Architects & Planners, Gator Gypsum, Gulf Coast Nail and Staple, Honc Industries, Juniper Landscaping, LSI Companies, Liberty Aluminum, Lyndon’s Bricks & Stones, Medenwald, McGarvey Development Company, Modern Tile & Carpet, MY Shower Door, Nilles Design Group, ODC Construction, Palm Printing, Plumbing Solutions, Preferred Materials, PLC Closets, Pulte Homes, Roof Right, Stevens Construction, Submerged Consultants, Trademark Roofing, UES and Wayne Wiles Floor Coverings.
