Cape store among new locations offering Sephora at Kohl’s Shops

This week, Kohl’s announced the list of the 400 stores that will be adding Sephora at Kohl’s shops this year. From Alaska to Maine, the 400 stores will span 36 states, eight of which are brand new homes to Sephora at Kohl’s. The addition of 400 stores brings the Sephora at Kohl’s location total to 600 and puts the partnership on track to meet its 850 store goal by 2023.

Among the stores to feature Sephora is the Kohl’s at 513 S.W. Pine Island Road in Cape Coral.

Introduced in fall 2021, Sephora at Kohl’s features a 2,500-square-foot, fully immersive beauty experience that mimics the look and feel of a freestanding Sephora. Within all Sephora at Kohl’s locations, customers can explore the signature Sephora experience with a carefully curated assortment of prestige makeup, skincare, hair, and fragrance brands, as well as innovations in clean beauty and self-care. Sephora-trained Beauty Advisors offer personalized beauty consultations and assistance with finding products, while testing and discovery zones serve up a rotating assortment of new, emerging or trending products.

In addition to expanding to 400 more stores, Sephora at Kohl’s is also adding six new beauty brands to its assortment this spring. Murad, Clarins, Jack Black, Living Proof, Versace and Voluspa will be joining some of the most recognizable and coveted beauty brands available at Sephora at Kohl’s, such as Rare Beauty, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Kiehl’s, Giorgio Armani, Olaplex, Clinique and Sephora Collection.

Busey Bank Bridge Scholarship now available

Busey is pleased to offer financial support toward continuing education endeavors to applicants of all ages and educational backgrounds through the Busey Bank Bridge Scholarship.

Through the Busey Bank Bridge Scholarship Fund, $25,000 in scholarships will be awarded annually. Funds will be disbursed through 10 scholarships of $2,500 each throughout Busey’s service area.

The scholarship funds can be used for tuition, fees, books or supplies for continuing education. The application deadline is June 30, 2022, and selected recipients will be notified by July 31, 2022. Applicants will be required to meet specific eligibility requirements.

Above Board Chamber to share tips for enhancing customer service

With the ever-changing economy, business owners need to be aware that exceeding customer expectations is now more important than ever. Customer service is king and to assist in that area, the Above Board Chamber of Florida will be hosting a luncheon with an expert panel offering tips on how businesses can enhance the customer experience. The meeting will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, July 14, at the Crowne Plaza Bell Tower, 13051 Bell Tower Drive, in Fort Myers

The luncheon will feature Stacey Adams as the emcee. She is a financial advisor at Alliance Financial Group. The event is sponsored by Jonathan Gabel, President of Priority Business Solutions and by CONRIC pr + marketing.

Patterson promoted at Sanibel Captiva Community Bank

Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has promoted Diane Patterson to assistant vice president and office manager of the bank’s Bridge Branch, located at 9311 College Parkway, at the corner of McGregor Boulevard and College Parkway. Patterson will manage daily operations and customer relationships, including business and consumer banking.

She previously served as the Bridge Branch’s assistant branch manager. She joined the bank in 2016 as a teller and has worked in several roles, including customer service representative and assistant branch manager at the bank’s McGregor Branch.

Prior to joining Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, Patterson worked as a hairstylist for nearly 10 years. She is a Boston native who relocated to Southwest Florida in 2003.
