PulteGroup announces Sawgrass at Coral Lakes project
Centex-branded neighborhood to be located within existing Coral Lakes community
PulteGroup has closed on the land for a new Centex-branded neighborhood called Sawgrass at Coral Lakes.
Located within the existing Coral Lakes community in Cape Coral off Del Brado Boulevard, with quick access to Pine Island Road, Sawgrass will offer 230 new-construction townhomes within the guard-gated, master-planned neighborhood, which has low HOA fees and no CDD.
The first release of quick move-in homes is anticipated for purchase and move in by summer of 2022.
“Created in response to market demand for quality homes, Sawgrass introduces Centex’s consumer-inspired townhomes at a time when there is little inventory available in both Cape Coral and Lee County,” said Richard McCormick, area president of PulteGroup’s Florida Divisions, in a prepared statement. “We’re excited to meet buyer demand and offer a top-value townhome in a beautiful, established community.”
Expected to start from the mid-$200s, the new Centex townhomes in Sawgrass at Coral Lakes will offer 1,636 to 1,816 square feet of living space, three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and one- and two-car garages. The homes will offer open-concept floor plans, large kitchen layouts, first-floor half baths and the option for covered lanai space. Features will also include tile roofs and paver driveways.
“The townhomes will be well suited for everyone from entry-level, young professional buyers to families looking for features like garages and generous gathering rooms for entertaining and everyday life. Empty nesters and snowbirds will appreciate the ‘lock and leave,’ low-maintenance opportunity of a townhome at an affordable price point and low fees,” the release announcing the project states.
Homebuyers at Sawgrass will enjoy access to two, resort-style swimming pools with sundecks, along with a country club-style clubhouse with fitness center within the established Coral Lakes community. Residents can also get active on tennis and volleyball courts, soccer fields and a baseball field, while sidewalks wind throughout the community for walking or jogging.
Located in northeast Cape Coral just 2.5 miles west of U.S. 41, Sawgrass at Coral Lakes provides residents with easy, convenient proximity to nearby recreational opportunities, employment and healthcare centers. A Publix-anchored shopping center is less than one mile away, and a range of other retailers and restaurants can be found within a few miles of the community.
Nearby schools include Diplomat Elementary and Middle Schools, North Fort Myers High School and Cape Coral High School. Area healthcare providers located within five miles include Millennium Physicians Group, Florida Cancer Specialists and Cape Coral Hospital.
Coral Lakes is also within easy driving distance of both Southwest Florida International Airport and Punta Gorda Airport. Families will enjoy being close to amenities like Sun Splash Family Waterpark, while active residents can take advantage of the community’s proximity to spots like Del Prado Linear Park and Prairie Pines Preserve.
