Nautical Expo Nov. 20-21

Southwest Florida’s Nautical Mile Publications Inc. has announced that the 2021 Nautical Expo will be held at the German American Social Club, Nov. 20 and 21.

The one-of-a-kind show has attracted exhibitors from all over Florida with a wide variety of fine art, nautical gadgets, coastal exhibits and fun for the kids. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet world famous nautical artists including Steve Whitlock and Douglas Snidely, plus watch fly-tying demonstrations, kids boat building and a unique holiday shopping experience.

The expo is also benefiting several local non-profits including the Cape Coral Tarpon Hunters, the Widows Sons, Fishing with Heroes, the Matlacha Hookers, Cold Blooded Wildlife Refuge, Heroes on the Water, Freedom Waters and the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, where animal lovers can contribute to the “Puppy-Jail” as a fundraiser.

Locals are invited to come sell their used boating and fishing gear for only $10 per car in the used nautical flea market and multiple food trucks will be onsite.

Fishing seminars will be held on the hour from local guides including local captains Gregg McKee and Rob Fussnecker.

Active police officers are invited to attend as a guest of the show. To encourage boating and fishing in our youth, kids under 18 may also attend for free.

The German American Social Club is located in Cape Coral at 2101 S.W. Pine Island Road. For more information, visit www.NauticalMileMagazine.com.

ACMAXTECH receives UL approval for condensate management system

ACMAXTECH, LLC, which manufactures HVAC after market add-ons, has announced that it has successfully undergone all appropriate safety testing and received Underwriters Lab (UL) approval for its condensate management system, which helps eliminate bacteria that grows in the condensate pan, which can cause water blockage and AC shutdowns.

The system, which can be installed in homes and businesses, automatically cleans with a safe, eco-friendly liquid and keeps bacteria from forming in the pan and condensate line. This reduces service calls and routine maintenance from weekly or monthly to simple system refills once or twice a year.

For more information about the new business, which is located at 424 S.E. 47th Terrace, unit D, Cape Coral, visit www.ACMAXTECH.com, or call 239-676-0785. The business is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
