CFCW Propco Colonial LLC has purchased 1.1 acres of vacant land located at 2811 Colonial Blvd., in Fort Myers, for $800,000 from Amtel Group of Florida, Inc.

SWFL Commercial Alliance and the Royal Palm Coast Realtor Association program Oct. 1

The SWFL Commercial Alliance and the Royal Palm Coast Realtor Association will offer an event and learning opportunity for commercial brokers and agents Friday, Oct. 1, in the Fort Myers Ed Center at 4081 Center Point Drive, Fort Myers. Participants can learn about topics like comprehensive planning and zoning, site and building permitting, and construction topics.

Four experts, Michael Ekblad, Tina Mayfield Ekblad, Michael William Morris Jr. and Dan Adams, will discuss a variety of commercial construction topics.

Breakfast and networking is scheduled for 8-8:30 a.m., and the programs begins at 8:30.

Christopher promoted to executive leadership team at Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Property Southwest Florida

Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Property Southwest Florida, one of Southwest Florida’s largest third-party commercial property management company, is bolstering its commitment to property management services by expanding its executive leadership team. CPSWFL has announced the promotion of Mike Christopher to the role of vice president – Property Management and Facility Services.

Christopher joined the CPSWFL team as a property manager in June 2021, and quickly made a strong impression on its leadership team. He brings a wealth of professional experience to his new role, including more than 30 years of executive leadership positions in the media industry, where he led corporate construction projects and facilities management initiatives.

As vice president – Property Management and Facility Services, Christopher will serve on CPSWFL’s five-person leadership team, which guides the organization’s strategic initiatives and direction. He will be responsible for growth of CPSWFL’s property management service line, including project management, facilities services and other potential revenue sources. He will also serve as the primary relationship manager to owner management, tenant operations and property management contracts.

Stevens Construction Inc. expands Fort Myers team

C. Jay Wolfe III and Joseph Powalski have joined Stevens Construction, announced Dan Adams, vice president, south Florida and principal.

Bringing 30 years of commercial experience, Wolfe is an accomplished project manager with a diverse background in healthcare, educational and commercial projects. He has completed more than $140 million in projects including the Canterfield of Fort Myers retirement community and the Isle of Porto Vista multi-family development.

As project manager in the company’s Fort Myers location, Wolfe is responsible for ensuring the schedule and budget goals established in preconstruction are achieved during the construction phase with superior safety and quality.

Wolfe has earned his bachelor of science in construction management and Associate of Science in architectural technology from Indiana State University.

Powalski joins Stevens Construction’s Fort Myers location as superintendent, responsible for implementing and maintaining the project schedule from the field while coordinating inspections and safety meetings while ensuring quality control of the subcontractors.

Seagate completes third remodel of EmCyte headquarters

Seagate Development Group has completed a remodel of EmCyte Corporation’s headquarters at 4331 Veronica S. Shoemaker Blvd., in Fort Myers.

Part of the autologous regenerative biologics company’s third phase, it included creating a manufacturing space in the warehouse of a preexisting 30,000-square-foot facility. The remodel accommodates an ever-growing amount of medical equipment among current learning centers and offices.

By the fourth quarter of 2021, this remodel will be coupled with a 14,000-square-foot laboratory and warehouse, accompanied by air-conditioning-controlled storage. It will ultimately connect to the now freestanding building by a breezeway. Crews are also working on additional parking and travel lanes for deliveries.
