FineMark to open brokerage division
FineMark National Bank & Trust, a provider of high touch, relationship based financial services headquartered in Fort Myers, will begin offering brokerage services in October of this year according to Joseph Catti, president and CEO of the bank.
The new division, which will be called FineMark Financial Services, will add to the investment capabilities already offered by the Trust Department of the bank.
FineMark Financial Services will be managed by Robert Sizemore, a highly experienced investment and brokerage specialist, who managed the local office of Merrill Lynch for many years.
Sizemore will be joined by Donna Ruscik, who also worked at Merrill Lynch prior to joining FineMark in May.
Sizemore began his career as a CPA and is also a Certified Financial Planner. He holds Series 7,9,10, and 31 as well as a Florida Insurance License.
Ruscik holds Series 3, 7 and 63 licenses.
Catti noted that FineMark Financial Services will use the Commonwealth brokerage platform.
He added, “We will now be able to offer all clients sophisticated investment and wealth management services in a manner that is best suited to meet their objectives.”
Sizemore commented, “This is a real win for our clients. FineMark has increased the services offered, added several new research and financial planning resources and is working with a nine time winner of the Broker/Dealer of the year award from Investment Advisor magazine. It’s great to be able to offer brokerage services on a truly independent platform.”
FineMark National Bank & Trust offers a comprehensive array of banking, trust, and investment services to clients interested in establishing long term, high touch relationships.
FineMark is dedicated to providing a culture of service to clients and making a positive difference in the communities it serves.
