Lee County medic appointed to Emergency Medical Review Committee
The Florida State Bureau of Emergency Medical Services recently announced the appointment of Lt. Ben Abes of Lee County EMS to their Emergency Medical Review Committee.
He was appointed to a 4-year term by Florida Surgeon General Ana Viamonte Ros. The Medical Review Committee provides a mechanism for statewide EMS data analysis and review for the purpose of statewide and national quality improvement initiatives.
Abes has been with Lee County EMS for six years and works as a shift supervisor in the North district.
