Sunset Chicken to host ribbon-cutting in Cape
Sunset Chicken will celebrate its one-year anniversary in Cape Coral with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8.
The ribbon-cutting will take place at 10:30 a.m.
The event will celebrate the family-owned restaurant’s first anniversary in the Cape and will bring together customers, local businesses and community partners to mark the milestone.
Sunset Chicken will also introduce its first food truck.
The first 20 attendees in line will be entered for a chance to win free chicken for a year. The winner will be announced during the event and must be present to win.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to win two complimentary tickets aboard the Silver King for a scenic boat ride, courtesy of the Tarpon Point Marina, from the marina to Fort Myers Beach.
Founded by Mike and Iris Mayer, Sunset Chicken has roots on Marco Island. Offering premium chicken tenders marinated for 24 hours, hand-battered and cooked fresh to order, it serves handcrafted sandwiches, family meals and signature sauces, with a focus on quality and genuine hospitality.
