Golf Course survey online
For those who were unable to attend Thursday night’s public meeting about the old golf course, the city has made the Master Plan survey available online at capecoral.gov.
Breeze coverage of the meeting will be online.
The public meeting held at the Public Works Operations Center was intended “to gather ideas and input for transforming the Old Golf Course site into a vibrant, inclusive park that will serve current and future generations.”
All residents were encouraged to “attend, share their ideas, and connect with neighbors as Cape Coral plans its next great park. Help shape the future of this beloved community space.”
The 175-acre parcel that was once home to the Cape Coral Country Club is at 4007 Palm Tree Blvd. The historic course closed in 2006 and clubhouse and outbuildings were razed in 2007. The city purchased the site in August 2024.
A master plan has been funded for fiscal year 2026 with a presentation, following public input, expected in the spring.
