Queen tribute band to perform at Edison and Ford Winter Estates as first Rhythm on the River concert of the season
On Friday, Nov. 13, Edison and Ford Winter Estates will kick off the first Rhythm on the River concert of the season with Almighty Queen, a Queen tribute band. The band plays Queen’s top hits and crowd favorites for an authentic show. The concert will take place on the historic Ford lawn, along the Caloosahatchee River. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 6:30. The concert series is sponsored by Renewal by Andersen.
The season will continue with Neil Zirconia, a Neil Diamond tribute on Jan. 29. This performance is being brought back by popular demand and has been a crowd favorite at the Estates for several years.
Then, on Feb. 26, a Garth Brooks tribute, Ultimate 90s Garth Brooks, will take the stage. The singer is a world-class showman and vocalist with years of experience performing for prestigious organizations such as Sea World and Universal studios. The band performs many of Garth Brooks’ top hits, such as “Friends in Low Places”, “Shameless”, “More Than a Memory”, “Good Ride Cowboy”, and “The Thunder Rolls”.
The Caribbean Chillers, a Jimmy Buffett Tribute, will be back at the Estates on March 26 for their annual concert. This dynamic Florida-based tribute band looks and sounds like the real thing, making fans think they are at a Jimmy Buffett concert.
On April 23, Michael Dutra and the Strictly Sinatra Band, a Frank Sinatra tribute, will return. Dutra’s smooth voice brings many of Sinatra’s hits to life.
The setting offers a beautiful river view and a chance to see a spectacular sunset. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. No coolers are permitted. Ticket holders should bring a folding chair and a sweater or blanket if the weather is chilly. Free parking is available in the Edison Ford parking lots at 2350 McGregor Blvd.
