High schoolers earn Cambridge diplomas
The School District of Lee County announced that 525 high school students earned the Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) diploma after their 2026 examinations.
The program spans 11 high schools and two charter schools. Diplomas are awarded in three tiers: pass, merit and distinction.
The following students earned theirs with distinction:

• Dylan Belcher of Ida S. Baker High School
• Emily Diaz Mederos of Mariner High School
• Ethan Fournier of North Fort Myers High School
• Sophia Garcia of Gateway High School
• Lauren Julianna of North Fort Myers High School
• Nhu Nguyen of North Fort Myers High School
• Mateo Pinzon of Bonita Springs High School
• Sofia Quintana of Gateway High School
• Israel Rosales-Prado of Gateway High School
• Madelyn Sanders of North Fort Myers High School
• Cay Stevens of North Fort Myers High School
• Saylor Yuki of North Fort Myers High School
The diploma unlocks benefits, like qualification for the top tier of the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship.
