Friends of the Cape Coral Library Spring Book Sale Fundraiser April 16-18
The Friends of the Cape Coral Library Spring Book Sale Fundraiser will be held April 16-18.
The book sale, which will be held in the meeting room at the Cape Coral Library, at 921 S.W. 39th Terrace, is open to the public Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. There will also be a special Members Only Preview Sale Thursday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Non-members may join the Friends of the Cape Coral Library non-profit organization at the door by paying the annual dues of $20 per family.
The huge meeting room of the Cape Coral Library will be filled with thousands of quality used books arranged according to category by a crew of member volunteers. There will be lots of fiction and non-fiction for adults and a section for children and teens. There will also be music CDs, plus movies on DVD available.
Most items are $1 or $2, with small paperbacks at less than a buck.
There will be a large selection of “special” books (such as those by Florida authors, autographed books, collectibles and more) that are priced somewhat higher, but are still an incredible bargain.
Proceeds from the event are used to support the Cape Coral Public Library branch. Remember to bring cash or personal check, since credit cards are not accepted.

Please note that donations of gently used resale quality books, CDs and DVDs for our book sales are accepted year-round. You can call the Friends’ phone message service at (239) 349-2572, leave a clear message with your phone number, and someone in the group will return your call or you can now request a pick up at capefriends.org.
