Dr.?Rolando Gonzalez and Heather Cook.

Douglas and Robin L. Cook of Sanibel are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Cook, to Dr. Rolando Gonzalez, son of Dr. Rolando and Joy Gonzalez of North Carolina.

Heather, a graduate of Fort Myers High School, earned her BA in art history at Florida State University and her MA in art history and museum studies at Case Western Reserve. She is the head of education & visitor experience at The Wolfsonian Museum-FIU in Miami.

Dr. Gonzalez earned his BS in biology at Florida State University and achieved his MD at North East Ohio Medical University. He is now a child psychiatry fellow at UM Hospitals Miami.

A November wedding on Sanibel Is planned.
