Cape High JROTC participates in Elks Lodge Flag Day ceremony
On June 14, Flag Day, the Cape Coral High School JROTC participated in the Cape Coral Elks Lodge 2596 Flag Day ritual. The cadets presented all of the flags that have represented the United States of America. Included was a POW flag, which recognizes the members of our armed forces who remain missing in action.
The members of the JROTC then performed an outstanding military drill for the lodge members and their guests.
That was followed by the lodge officers presenting a check for $4,000 to the cadet officer. The JROTC officers said the money will help with the cost of participating in the many competitions the team enters.
