Cape Christian announces opening of new pickleball courts at Fellowship Park
Cape Christian has announced the opening of its newly constructed pickleball courts, the latest addition to Fellowship Park. The courts will officially open to the public Saturday, April 18, further expanding the church’s commitment to creating a welcoming space for families and the broader Cape Coral community.
The project includes two side-by-side pickleball courts designed for players of all skill levels, offering an additional recreational option for individuals and families to connect. In addition to the new courts, Cape Christian has also refinished the surface of its existing basketball courts, enhancing the overall recreational experience at Fellowship Park.
These updates are part of an ongoing effort by Cape Christian to invest in community-focused spaces that bring people together. In recent years, the church has continued to enhance its campus, including the renovation of its popular splash pad, making Fellowship Park a hub for family-friendly activities year-round.
“Our heart has always been to serve our community and create spaces where people can gather, build relationships, and enjoy life together,” said Kyle Jackson, incoming lead pastor. “Whether it’s families playing on the splash pad, friends meeting on the courts, or neighbors connecting in the park, we want our campus to be a place where everyone feels welcome and experiences a sense of belonging.”
Guests visiting Fellowship Park can also enjoy Parkside Cafe, Cape Christian’s on-campus café that is open to the public throughout the week and weekend. The café provides food and beverage options for guests visiting the park.
