Santa & Snow Holiday Magic set for Nov. 21-22 at Fathoms
One Cape Coral restaurant will herald in the holidays this weekend.
Fathoms Restaurant & Bar in Cape Harbour will once again offer “Santa & Snow Holiday Magic” on Nov. 21 and 22, where attendees can get an early photo op with Santa, as well as take a ride on a “snow” slide.
“This is a really fun event for us that we’ve been doing for a long time,” said Valeria Zanella Voisin, marketing director with Fathoms and sister restaurant, Gather. “It has transformed over the years, but we love bringing holiday cheer to the city. Santa and the slow slide are always a hit.”
Being one of the first local events with the jolly man in the red suit present, families have the opportunity to get a head start on that Christmas card, and find the holiday spirit.
“A lot of kids come and take their photo with Santa,” Zanella Voisin said. “And there are kids that have never experienced something like a snow slide. We know it’s not real snow, but regardless, the feeling is there. It’s really fun to see the kids enjoy, and see parents going down the slide with them. We look forward to this every year.”
The event is free to attend, and runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a small price for a snow slide wristband.
Both days are full of events, with Friday including:

• Arts and crafts
• Cookie Decorating
• Snowie Shaved Ice Truck
• Live Music
• Lee County Sheriff’s Office Robotic Dog
• Samples from Wicked Dolphin
Saturday includes:
• Pictures with Santa (6 to 9 p.m.)
• Snow Slide (6 to 9 p.m.)
• Face painting
• Cookie Decorating
• Snowie Shaved Ice Truck
• Live Music
• Samples of Tito’s
“We have live music both days with great bands to keep guests entertained and dancing,” Zanella Voisin said.
Above all, the event is about bringing the magic of the holiday season to Cape Coral, and giving attendees a great way to kick off this special time of year.
“To start celebrating this wonderful season is why we put this on,” Zanella Voisin said. “We have a lot of entertainment for all ages.”
