Cape Coral native and University of Nebraska sophomore Christopher Minto garnered All American status for the second straight year Friday afternoon with another win at the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships in Cleveland, Ohio, advancing to Friday night's semifinals as the third seed in the 174-pound weight class. Minto, a Mariner High School grad, defeated Iowa State's MJ Gaitan by major decision, 11-3, to secure a spot in Friday night's final four action, which will be broadcast on ESPN2, beginning at 8 p.m. Minto will face Missouri's Cam Steed, the seventh seed and also a two-time All American, in the semi round.
