Uhler and Vertich Financial Planners co-founder heads symphony foundation

Corey Vertich, co-founder and principal of Uhler and Vertich Financial Planners, has been elected president of the Southwest Florida Symphony Endowment Foundation board of directors.

Corey Vertich, CFP®, principal with Uhler and Vertich Financial Planners, has been elected president of the Southwest Florida Symphony Endowment Foundation board of directors. Vertich has served on the foundation board since 2015.

Vertich is a founding principal of Uhler and Vertich Financial Planners. He graduated Cum Laude from Barry University School of Business and began his financial planning career in 1989, becoming a CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 1994. He has been recognized by Forbes Magazine as a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor in 2020, 2021, and 2023, and currently serves on the board of directors for United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades.

Other Southwest Florida Symphony Endowment Foundation board members include Treasurer David Hall; Secretary Scott Gregory; Robert Diefenbach; Katherine Caldwell; Cynthia Duff; Tom Kracmer; and John Wright.

The foundation was established in 2002 to build assets for the long-term financial support of the Southwest Florida Symphony, Lee County’s only professional orchestra. Since then, the endowment has grown to more than $2.95 million. The foundation is managed by an independent board of trustees and receives gifts, provides appropriate investment stewardship and makes regular disbursements of earnings to the symphony.
