Oasis 31, Daytona Halifax Academy 20: Parker Smith threw for four touchdowns as the Sharks won their Kickoff Classic.

Jason McArdle Sykes caught two of those TD passes, and also ran for a score.

The game was played at Bishop Verot in Fort Myers.

Jacob Fowler made an interception for Oasis, and two-way lineman Carson Monville was a standout on both offense and defense.

North Fort Myers 50, Estero 0: The Red Knights tuned up for next week’s season opener against Fort Myers with a dominant performance.

North scored five rushing touchdowns, two each by Andre Devine and Ceon Gordon plus a TD run by Scotty Olian. Devine had 120 rushing yards.

Bo Summersett caught two scoring passes from Bryce Duross.

Adrian Stone scored a safety for the Red Knights’ defense, while Jaiden Jones and Rashad Snow picked off Estero passes.
