Bishop Verot 14, Tampa Catholic 1 (5 innings): Brody Baxmann piled up five runs batted in on a home run and a single as the Vikings (24-5) advanced to the Region 3A-2 championship. Jason Bello doubled and homered, driving in three runs and scoring three. Joey Lawson had two hits including a homer, good for three RBI and three runs scored. Maddix Simpson allowed one run over four innings for the win.

Tampa Berkeley Prep 6, Clearwater Calvary Christian 0: Berkeley Prep (16-11) upset the region’s top seed.
