At Naples

North Fort Myers 15, Barron Collier 2 (5 innings): Abigail Haynes was 4-for-4 at the plate with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored. Audrie Florenzano, Mia Lane and Azlynn Gomes also had two RBI each. Kaliyah Williams allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits. She struck out six and didn’t walk a batter.

Bishop Verot 4, Miami Christian 0 (6 innings): Payton Breadmore posted a three-hit shutout over six innings for the Vikings (17-3-1). Offensively, Gianna Torres went 3-for-3 with a double, driving in two runs. Melanie Moreno and Abby Goff added an RBI each.

Friday

BASEBALL

Ida Baker 6, Oasis 5 (8 innings): The next-door neighbors fought it out for eight innings, with the Bulldogs (10-9) scoring twice in the bottom of the eighth for the win. Ida Baker used a throwing error and an RBI grounder to push the tying and winning runs across. Ely Mora had two RBI for the Bulldogs. For Oasis (11-7), Gabe Gair was 2-for-3 and scored two runs.

Bishop Verot 10, Fort Pierce John Carroll Catholic 0 (5 innings): The Vikings rolled to their 18th win of the season (18-5).

SOFTBALL

Fort Myers 8, Ida Baker 4: Laurynn Mayberry drove in two runs for the Bulldogs (9-8).

At Naples

North Fort Myers 10. Aubrey Rogers 0 (5 innings): Kaliyah Williams and Alison Smith drove in runs each for the Red Knights. Jordyn Prado held the Patriots to two hits in five scoreless innings.

Miami Christian 3, North Fort Myers 0: Two of the three runs against Kaliyah Willaims were unearned as the Red Knights slipped to 15-5.

Bishop Verot 7, Cypress Lake 3: Paige Bettermann struck out 13 batters in six innings. Alexalys Torres had two RBI.

Bishop Verot 8, Fort Pierce John Carroll Catholic 1 (5 innings): McKenna Robbins was 3-for-3 with a triple, driving in three runs and scoring twice. Crimson Lawrence held John Carroll Catholic to three hits and one run. The Vikings improved to 16-3-1.

Island Coast 2, Ida Baker 1: Anthony Ruiz pitched a complete game, allowing four hits and one run to lead the Gators (14-8) past the Bulldogs (9-9). Hard-luck losing pitcher Janiel Peguerro-Rodriguez yielded two runs (one earned) on two hits and four walks in six innings. Mason Blackburn had an RBI for Island Coast, and Ryan Torres drove in an Ida Baker run.

Estero 8, North Fort Myers 3: Nick Tobia had two RBI for the Red Knights (6-14).

Bonita Springs 14, Mariner 5: PJ Marino doubled and homered, driving in three runs for the Tritons (10-13).

Cape Coral 14, East Lee County 2 (5 innings): The Seahawks (4-17) swept this week’s two-game series with the Jaguars.

SOFTBALL

North Fort Myers 16, Estero 1 (3 innings): Abigail Hynes had a perfect night at the plate, going 3-for-3 with four RBI and three runs scored as the Red Knights (14-4) made short work of Estero. Mia Lane was 2-for-2 with a walk, driving in three runs and scoring twice. Audrie Florenzano was 2-for-2 with a walk, scoring three runs and driving in two. Azlynn Gomes and Bella Miceli added two RBI each.

Ida Baker 15, Island Coast 0: This one came to an early end after the Bulldogs (9-7) scored 15 runs in the top of the first inning.

Cape Coral 19, East Lee County 4 (3 innings): Abigail Brannan had two hits including a triple, driving in three runs for the Seahawks (10-8). Mariah Druz and Mya Ramirez had two RBI each, and Emma Brannan hit a solo home run.
