Bishop Verot 9, Sarasota Cardinal Mooney 4: Joey Lawson homered and knocked in three runs for the Vikings (13-5). Jason Bello had a 2-for-3 night at the plate, good for two RBI. Bello and Maddix Simpson had two stolen bases each as Verot swiped eight bases in all.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Gulf Coast 15, Bishop Verot 4: Daphne O’Hara scored two goals for the Vikings (4-8). Lily Lockard had a goal and two assists, and Clare Murnane also scored.
