Mariner 13, South Fort Myers 2 (5 innings): PJ Marino went 2-for-3 with a home run, double, two runs scored and three RBI. Mariner (4-7) also got two RBI each from DJ Dwire and Xavier Muentes. Dwire pitched all five innings.

North Fort Myers 5, Fort Myers 1: Red Knights pitchers Jakob Wagner and Derek Hooker combined to hold the Green Wave to three hits and a run. Matthew Blasena had two hits and two RBI. Thomas Eisminger, Wagner and Logan Divet had an RBI each. North has won its last four to reach 5-5 on the season.

Bishop Verot 9, Harmony 0: Joey Lawson and Owen Rardin combined on a three-hit shutout as the Vikings remained unbeaten (9-0). Jason Bello was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI.

SOFTBALL

Bishop Verot 6, Spanish River 0: Mckenna Robbins homered, driving in three Vikings runs. Crimson Lawrence and Paige Bettermann combined on a four-hit shootout. Bishop Verot improved to 6-1.

Bishop Verot 11, Lakewood Ranch 8: The Vikings are 11-0.
