First round

Mariner 3, Seminole 0: Kelsi Longabardi and Stephanie Sarascione scored for the Tritons (19-3), who also took advantage of a Seminole own goal. Mariner advanced to a home semifinal Friday with Naples, which edged rival Barron Collier 1-0.

North Fort Myers 3, Osceola 0: Brooke Hankinson posted a shutout in goal, while Sophia Kerns had two goals to power the Red Knights’ attack. Evie McCarthy also scored for North (15-3), and Kenlee Dominguez and Sophia Quartuccio made assists. The Red Knights will be home Friday against Parrish Community. Parrish Community ousted Braden River 4-2.

Lely 1, Mariner 0: Despite dominating play for much of the evening, the Tritons (17-7-3) couldn’t find the back of the net. Lely (13-5-5) won its eighth consecutive match to advance. The Trojans’ foe will be Barron Collier, the top seed in the region, which beat Parrish Community 5-0.

St. Stephen’s Episcopal 18, Bishop Verot 2: The same team that ended the Vikings’ 2022-23 season opened the new season by defeating Verot again.
