Mariner 2, LaBelle 0: Deric Black and Federico Buitrago each played a half in goal to share the shutout. Christian Zapata and Justin Mesero scored for the Tritons (8-2).
Bishop Verot 1, Ida Baker 0: The Vikings’ narrow victory leaves both teams at .500 for the season: Bishop Verot is 4-4 and the Bulldogs are 4-4-2.
Cape Coral 1, Estero 1, tie: Cape scored in the second half after Estero led 1-0 at intermission. With the draw, the Seahawks are 5-3-2.
GIRLS SOCCER
Cape Coral 3, Estero 0: Cameron Fallacara had a goal and assisted on Cape’s other two scores. Sophia Vianest and Angelia Toro scored those goals. Payton Jones posted a shutout in goal.
Lakewood Ranch 3, North Fort Myers 2: The Mustangs handed the Red Knights their first loss, snapping North’s six-match winning streak.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Bishop Verot 49, Ida Baker 40: The 6-0 Vikings got 15 points from Cameron O’Halloran in a win against the Bulldogs (3-2). Josee Fry added nine points for Verot. Maia Berbedes paced Ida Baker with 19 points, while Julianna Nieves added 12 points.
Island Coast 46, Dunbar 44, OT: Aubrey Curry scored 25 points in 26 minutes for Island Coast. Samarrah Desir added nine points as the Gators evened their record at 2-2.
Bonita Springs 43, Oasis 3: Oasis (0-4) remains in search of its first win.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Cape Coral 76, Canterbury 36: Every player on the Seahawks’ roster scored, led by Judah Daley’s 16 points and five steals. Austin Arringdale-Klein added 13 points and 7 rebounds, Mac Rubicco scored 12 points, and Joe Silva 10 points contributed 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
Oasis 51, Neumann 50: Trailing through three quarters, the Sharks (4-1) held Neumann to three points in the final period to eke out a road victory.
North Fort Myers 57, Ida Baker 39: After a slow start, the Red Knights have won four of five (4-3).
