Bishop Verot 5, Charlotte 0: The Vikings (3-0) spread the wealth, with five different players scoring a goal. Caroline Pelkofski had a goal and an assist, while Lindsey Walsh, Lila Dinkel, Katherine Pelkofski and Emman Mantilla each scored once. Alyvia Mueller made two assists and Lea Scotti added one.

Cape Coral 8, Gateway Charter 0: Make it four consecutive wins to open the season as the Seahawks had no trouble with the 0-3 Griffins.

Oasis 8, Dunbar 0: Samantha Chitu scored four goals to lead the Sharks (2-1). Mackenzie Canney, Ashley Lynn, Elizabeth Ali and Erin Vezzola scored once each. Providing assists were Jazlyn Forbes, Maddison Boyko, and Alyssa Neuhausel.

Boys Soccer

Oasis 3, Gateway 3 (draw): Mario Acosta scored twice and Nick Odar added a goal for the Sharks (1-2-1). Emmanuel Diaz and Vitor Marcolino contributed assists.

Preseason Boys Basketball

Mariner 69, Oasis 55: The Tritons pulled away in the final period, pouring in 24 points in the quarter. Javarius Jackson had 21 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots for the Sharks.

Girls Basketball

Bishop Verot 67, Bonita Springs 4: The Vikings completely dominated the Bull Sharks, limiting Bonita’s scoring to four made free throws.
