Mariner 31, Island Coast 6: The Gators led 6-0 on Anthony Harris’ scoop-and-score 30-yard fumble recovery touchdown, but the Tritons took control from there. Mariner (6-0, 1-0 District 3S-14) scored the last 31 points of the game. Justin Lewis had a 6-yard scoring run and connected with Marcus Kelley Jr. as Mariner took a 15-6 lead into halftime. In the second half, Clark Daley had a one-yard TD run, Kelley passed 10 yards to Kelvin Jiminez for a TD and the Tritons defense added a safety. Island Coast slipped to 1-4, 0-1.

Bishop Verot 55, Key West 14: Another week, another romp for the Vikings (6-0, 1-0 District 2S-16). Quarterback Carter Smith got things going with touchdown passes of 10 yards to Tookie Watts, 68 yards to Matthew Turner and 34 yards to Jadrien Carmo, adding a one-yard TD run. Smith and Turner connected on a 6-yard score in the third quarter. Ryan Gadson took the second-half kickoff back 99 yards. Deshon Jenkins added a two-yard touchdown run.

Lehigh 42, Ida Baker 6: Scott Adrian scored on a one-yard run for the Bulldogs.

Oasis 3, Vero Beach St. Edward’s 2: Oasis pulled out a 25-19, 23-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-11 battle to advance in the 4A Sunshine State Athletic Conference playoffs The Sharks (7-9) take on Merritt Island Christian at noon on Saturday.
