Bishop Verot 6, Oasis 1: The Vikings (8-5-6) locked up both the district title and a berth in the state Class 3A tournament. Oasis (12-5-1) still had a solid chance to make the playoffs in Region 3A-2 despite Thursday’s loss.

Neumann 54, Bishop Verot 44: The Vikings (2-21) have one regular-season contest Friday against North Fort Myers.

Bonita Springs 59, Cape Coral 52: The Seahawks slipped to 13-10 after a home loss.

Gateway 84, North Fort Myers 63: Gateway moved to 14-6 by defeating the Red Knights (8-15). The Eagles remained undefeated (8-0) at home. For the Red Knights, Quentin Wimbush scored 21 points and Levontai Summersett 14 points, with Tavaris Irons grabbing 13 rebounds and Atavious Weaver 10 rebounds.

Mariner 54, First Baptist Academy 53: The Tritons head into district tournament play with a record of 16-9 after edging FBA (17-6).
