Bishop Verot 5, Community School of Naples 4: Brady Loughren’s RBI hit brought home Matthew Turner in the bottom of the sixth for the game-winning run. Kevin RisCassi, Dylan Peck and Preston Heben also drove in runs for the Vikings (16-6). Kolton Curtis got the win with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief pitching.

Fort Myers 8, Mariner 1: Matt Morales had an RBI for the Tritons (4-14) in the championship game of the Battle of the Border tournament at Fort Myers’ Terry Park.

South Fort Myers 12, Ida Baker 3: Jacob Ellis was 3-for-3 with an RBI for the Bulldogs (4-19). Aiden Powers also drove in a run for Ida Baker.

North Fort Myers 10, Palmetto Ridge 3: Gary Kamphouse drove in three runs on two hits to lead the Red Knights (11-12). Blake Busbee had two RBI. Logan Wilsker pitched four shutout innings for the win.

Cape Coral 6, Oasis 4: At Terry Park, the Seahawks improved to 6-16 while dropping the Sharks to 7-8.

Softball

Ida Baker 24, South Fort Myers 0 (3 innings): The Bulldogs (10-7) made short work of the Wolfpack.

Bishop Verot 6, Evangelical Christian 4: The Vikings (15-2) earned a win in the Private 8 Conference. Victoria Ash drove in three runs and Ashley Smallwood had three hits and two RBI.

Oasis 11, Island Coast 1: The victory lifted the Sharks to 7-9 and dropped the Gators to 2-12.
