Bishop Verot 31, Canterbury 25 (Private 8 tournament): Ashlynn Ulm scored 13 points and Reese Fry 10 for the Vikings (6-15). After Wednesday’s home game with Oasis, Bishop Verot will play for the Private 8 championship Friday against an opponent to be determined.

Cape Coral 62, Lehigh 24: Sierra Moore had 26 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the Seahawks (16-5). Yarily Pacheco scored 16 points, and Kayla Rodriguez had 15 points and 6 assists. Cape is home Friday to play Island Coast.

Ida Baker d. East Lee County (score not available): The Bulldogs evened their record at 10-10, the school’s most wins since the 2012-13 season (14-12). Ida Baker plays Thursday at Oasis.

Mariner 44, Gateway Charter 39: The Tritons (3-9) are back in action Wednesday night at Island Coast (4-9).

Boys basketball

Community School of Naples 63, Bishop Verot 42 (Private 8 tournament): CSN (17-2) rolled past the 10-6 Vikings in the Private 8 semifinals. Bishop Verot plays at Lely on Thursday.

South Fort Myers 84, North Fort Myers 52: North (3-11) is home Thursday against Estero.

Lehigh 79, Cape Coral 65: Cape (4-10) gets right back at it Wednesday with a home guy against Bonita Springs.

Ida Baker 83, East Lee County 61: The Bulldogs (8-5) rebounded from a loss to North Fort Myers, taking care of business against the Jaguars (5-11). Next up is a game Thursday at Oasis.

Mariner 89, Gateway Charter 82: With the non-district home win, the Tritons are 9-5 going into Wednesday’s home game with Island Coast.

Imagine School North Port 53, Oasis 46: Imagine (8-6) dropped the Sharks to 3-11 heading into Thursday’s matchup with Ida Baker.

Girls soccer

Bishop Verot 4, ECS 1 (Private 8 tournament): Kendal Garguila scored all four goals for Bishop Verot. The Vikings are surging down the stretch, improving to 7-3-2 on the season. Bella Sullivan made three assists. Evangelical Christian dropped to 8-7.

Boys soccer

South Fort Myers 7, North Fort Myers 4: The Red Knights (1-17, 0-4 District 5A-11) play Friday at East Lee County.

Fort Myers 3, Ida Baker 0: Baker (4-9-3) takes on rival Island Coast at home Friday.
