Island Coast 24, Bonita Springs 12: The Gators (4-2) grabbed a 12-6 lead after one quarter, and were up 24-6 until the game’s last 3:35. Gabe Fisher connected with Mike Jones on a 74-yard touchdown pass, and also ran for a 5-yard score. Jason Joseph and Jacob Hardin teamed up on a 55-yard TD. Dylan Ratliff scored in the third quarter from 8 yards out. The Joseph-to-Hardin pass came 14 seconds after Ethan Saure’s 1-yard run got the Bull Sharks (2-4) on the board. Mason Keenum had an 8-yard run for Bonita Springs with 3:35 left in the contest.

Girls swimming

District 3A-9 meet: North Fort Myers finished fourth and Ida Baker seventh in the district competition, which was won by Barron Collier.  A total of 11 schools competed.. 

Boys swimming

District 3A-9 meet: Kirk Klemm of North Fort Myers won the 50 freestyle, leading the Red Knights to a third-place finish in the district championships. Island Coast was seventh as a team.
