Cape Council needs to resolve trash collection issue
To the editor:
It’s about time the city of Cape Coral changes the garbage collection.
I live in the area of S. W. 53rd Street and Southwest 52nd Terrace. There are about 15 streets, each with about 30 homes.
For the last two weeks-plus, yard waste has not been picked up. Every time I call the city, they transfer you to 311 and then you are on hold. I’ve been put on hold several times, for as long as half an hour and then I give up. You just can’t get through. I even tried the mayor’s office.
I don’t like to complain but I’m getting sick and tired of it — they put you on hold and you can’t get anything done at all.
We pay for collection on our tax bills and we’re not getting results.
