Those who don’t abide their responsibilities are criminal capitalists

By Staff | Jan 28, 2021

To the editor:

In today’s world, we consider it normal for one small segment of our population to inevitably dominate in every way over the rest of us: This segment is generally known as the Establishment and the criterion of membership is vast personal wealth.

Many capitalists are members of The Establishment, but of course many are not.

Membership is NOT a matter of choice: When one accumulates a quantity of wealth beyond any measure of rational personal and individual use, membership is automatic.

This phenomenon is not at all confined to dollar-wealth.

With membership, automatically comes personal social responsibility — acknowledged or not!!! IMO, among these social responsibilities lie:

#1. Your fellow human beings: Thus —

#2. Law and Order, bottom to top ( CEOs Beware )

#3. The Environment: Doing for the long term, all interests

#4. Health Care, including dealing efficiently and effectively with recurring pandemics

#5. Homelessness, causes and solutions

#6. Joy in Life for ALL, including our animals

#7. Etc.

A Suggestion — Should you not care to personally deal with these responsibilities, you should be able to irrevocably assign a portion of your wealth to qualified entities set up for that purpose over which you have no voice — a sufficient portion to automatically terminate your membership in The Establishment.

Please note: No politics so far!!!

As for capitalist members, they come in two distinct stripes:

Those who abide by their responsibilities are Conscientious Capitalists (Yippie);

Those who do NOT are Criminal Capitalists, being by far the most numerous breed.

Important Note: The action “to abide” does NOT consist of merely paying out pallets of Charitable Bucks: Rather, it consists of personally seeing to it that the job indeed gets done!!!
