Many thanks to Operation Open Arms

By Staff | Mar 20, 2020

To the editor:

This letter is to let everyone know our appreciation for the non-profit group Operation Open Arms (OOA), which generously donated a professionally guided fishing trip last week for my serving U.S. Army son. This group selflessly gives unconditional support to our troops and has for over 15 years. A big “Thank You” to all the guys who really came through.

Capt. John Bunch is the leader of this incredible group and he did an amazing job is a very short time. In less than a week, he had us all set up and with a professional guide on the boat “Daisy Mae” out of Dunedin. We were off at the crack of dawn and did lots of catching all morning long. When all was said and done, we had a bucket full of fish which turned into a great fish fry with smiles all around.

Please consider helping them out. Operation Open Arms is a 501C3 public charity. No salaries and no political or religious affiliations. Donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. The address is OOA/P.O. Box 1, St James City, Fl 33956.
