Maria Alicia Hidalgo, 77, of Cape Coral, FL, died at 8:35 AM, October 21, 2014 at Hope Hospice of Cape Coral. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow. Inurnment will be held on a later date at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials: Evans Health Center Maria was born, September 21, 1937 in Quito, Ecuador, the daughter of Alejandro and Angela (Rodriguez) Hidalgo. She was a member of St Andrews Catholic Church. She loved shopping with her sisters, going to movies, parks and cooking for her family. Maria is survived by her sisters, Hilda Stiller and her husband Bernie of Cape Coral, Cecilia Hidalgo of Ecuador and Anna Hidalgo of Cape Coral Florida.
