Dianne Neis O’Day

Dianne Neis O’Day, 64, of Cape Coral passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, at her residence. Mrs. O’Day was born in Chicago Oct. 2, 1948, a daughter of James Michael Neis and Bernice Holzinger Neis, now deceased.

She was a computer programmer and worked with various other computer issues. She married John M. Owens in May 2013. She was a member of the VFW Post #8463 Auxiliary of Cape Coral. She had resided in Florida since 2000, coming from Black Hawk, Calif.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, John M. “Jack” Owens of Cape Coral; her step-children, Jim (Kim) O’Day of California and Gidget (Sammy) Greco of Franklin Square, N.Y.; her siblings, Melanie Michelle (Kent) Ryden of California, James Michael (Ilona) Neis of Chicago and Jon Stephen (Jyl) Neis of California; nephews, Daniele C. Bartoli Jr., John Neis and Jon Neis; and his niece, Nicole Neis.

A Nicheside Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 28, at 11 a.m., in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
