City to host Summer Workshop and Town Hall for Fiscal Year 2025 Budget

By Staff | May 6, 2024

The city of Cape Coral will provide two public involvement opportunities this summer for the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget.

A two-day budget workshop will take place June 6-7 at 9 a.m. in City Council Chambers. A town hall will be held July 25 from 4-8 p.m. in City Council Chambers. All budget workshops are open to the public. The sessions “will provide a comprehensive overview of the proposed 2025 budget, outlining key priorities, projects, and allocations,” city officials said.

The meetings will be streamed live on Cape Coral TV and available on-demand. Public input opportunities will take place at the meetings, and for those who can’t attend in person, e-comments are available.

Additional opportunities for public involvement will take place in the fall.

Three workshops will take place Aug. 6, 13, and 20 at 2 p.m. in City Council Chambers. Dates for a fall public hearing will be announced when available.

Agendas for these workshops will be posted on the City’s website, capecoral.gov.
