The Veterans Midpoint Memorial Charitable Trust, Inc. has announced that the new Space Force Flag has been placed at the veterans area at Eco Park, with the assistance of the city of Cape Coral, the Korean veterans, the St. Andrew Knights of Columbus and other local veterans and civilian groups. The 35=foot American Flag pole now proudly sits closer to the Veterans Midpoint Highway with the new order of flags behind it: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard.

Bricks will be moved to be under the appropriate flags in the near future.

The memorials have all recently been polished and rejuvenated, the pavilion gutters have been replaced and the Welcome Building roof has been repaired.

On Satuday, April 20, the park will close until noon for tree trimming and cleanup by parks maintenance and Keep Lee County Beautiful in conjunction with National Youth Services Day.

The VMMCT wishes to thank all who have supported this project. The park is visited by hundreds of local citizens and visitors every week.

The VMMCT is a non-profit tax deductible 501©(3) group formed for the beautification, artistic and educational improvements at the park.
