A special South Cape Community Redevelopment Agency meeting will be held Wednesday to further discuss the South Cape Downtown Redevelopment Plan.

The commissioners met last Thursday where they began the discussion of the plan. They will continue that discuss for the short term and mid to long term capital projects and strategic investment.

The short term includes the entertainment district, Club Square, Market Square, Lafayette, Cape Coral Parkway, transportation, bicycle network and programs.

Among the mid to long term capital projects and strategic investments include Club Square, Cape Coral Parkway, Bimini Basin, transportation, open space network and bicycle network.

The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, in City Council chambers, 1015 Cultural Park Blvd. The meeting is open to the public.
