The South Cape Community Redevelopment Agency will hold a special meeting Wednesday to further discuss the South Cape Downtown Redevelopment Plan.

Cape Coral City Council, sitting as the CRA governing board, met last Thursday to begin discussion of the plan. They will continue that discussion for the short-term and mid- to long-term capital projects and strategic investment.

The short-term includes the entertainment district, Club Square, Market Square, Lafayette, Cape Coral Parkway, transportation, bicycle network and programs.

Mid- to long-term capital projects and strategic investments include Club Square, Cape Coral Parkway, Bimini Basin, transportation, open space network and bicycle network.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, in City Council chambers, 1015 Cultural Park Blvd. The meeting is open to the public.
