Election Day for the Presidential Preference Primary is tomorrow, March 19
Lee County Supervisor of Elections Tommy Doyle reminds voters that tomorrow, March 19, is Election Day for the Presidential Preference Primary. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters must be in line at their respective polling place before 7 p.m. to vote.
On Election Day, voters must vote in their assigned precinct. Precinct number and polling place information can be found on a voter’s Voter Information Card, on the Lee County Elections website, or by calling 239-533-8683.
Florida law (s. 101.043 FS) requires voters to provide picture and signature identification when voting in person. Picture identification may not be expired. For a list of acceptable forms of identification, please visit lee.vote.
Tomorrow is also the last day for voters who vote by mail to return their Vote-by-Mail Ballot. Hand-delivered ballots can be dropped off at any Lee County Elections office between 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. A voted Vote-by-Mail Ballot will not be accepted at Election Day polling locations. Florida’s Presidential Preference Primary is a closed primary election. Eligible voters for the Presidential Preference Primary must be registered with the Republican Party of Florida. Voters registered with the Democratic Party, a minor political party, or no party affiliation will not have a ballot in this election.
