The Florida Highway Patrol reported at 3:30 this afternoon that troopers are on scene of a small airplane landing on southbound Interstate 75, near mile marker 107 (Pine Ridge Road), in Collier County. In landing, the airplane collided with a vehicle.

Southbound interstate lanes are currently closed.

FHP asks that drivers please avoid the area if possible and seek an alternate route. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
