The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools has announced its 30 Golden Apple finalists.

Among them are finalists from six West Zone schools with attendance from Cape Coral, including Patriot Elementary, North Fort Myers High School, Caloosa Elementary, Ida S. Baker High, Gulf Elementary and Skyline Elementary.

The recognition is in its 37th year.

“All of these exemplary professionals represent the outstanding teachers who work, day in and day out, to make sure our community’s greatest asset, our students, achieve at their highest potential. Our community is indebted to them,” said Marshall T. Bower, president & CEO of The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools.

The formal announcement will be made Friday at The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools office.

The 30 Golden Apple finalists are:
