School Board members to be sworn in Nov. 22

One incumbent and three new School Board members will be sworn in to begin their four-years terms at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22. Taking the oath of office are:

Sam Fisher – District 1

Fisher is a small business owner and attorney in Cape Coral with three children attending Lee County public schools.

Debbie Jordan – District 4

Jordan is a small business owner with grandchildren attending Lee County public schools. She is beginning her second term.

Armor Persons – District 5

Persons is a small business owner and Lee County native whose children and grandchildren also attended Lee County public schools.

Jada Langford – District 6

Langford is a small business owner, former Lee County teacher and high school volleyball coach.

The new members will join the continuing members for their first School Board meeting at 6 p.m. At the top of the agenda is electing a Chair and Vice Chair to one-year terms. They will also establish the next year’s meeting dates.
