The Lee County Clerk’s office will be closed Thursday morning, Sept. 16, for a mandatory staff training. The Clerk’s downtown Fort Myers and Cape Coral offices will open at 1 p.m. and close as scheduled at 5 p.m.

During the half-day program, deputy clerks will be trained on new services impacting the court system and our services. The training is being held in conjunction with the court holiday.

“Our annual training helps ensure our customers are provided with the best quality service possible from knowledgeable, friendly staff,” said Linda Doggett, Lee County Clerk of Court. “Our goal is to guarantee everyone who visits our office receives quality customer service, especially as we navigate the stressful pandemic.”

While the office is closed, customers can conveniently view or file documents and court cases 24/7 at LeeClerk.org. Payments for court fines, child support, alimony, and tourist development tax can also be paid online.
