According to the Florida Highway Patrol, southbound Interstate 75 traffic is being diverted at Tuckers Grade Exit 158. Northbound Interstate 75 traffic is being diverted at Bayshore Road Exit 143.

A portion of I-75 near Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers was closed earlier this morning by heavy smoke from a nearby fire.

Troopers remain on site to monitor wind and visibility changes. Please drive cautiously.
