Election results are in. The winners in the Cape Coral City Council General Election are:

– Joe Coviello, mayor, with 50.6 percent of the vote;

– City Council, District 1, John Gunter, 56.65 percent of the vote

– City Council, District 4, Jennifer Nelson, 54.14 percent of the vote

– City Council, District 5, Dave Stokes, 67.61 percent of the vote

– City Council, District 6, Rick Williams, incumbent, 57.85 percent of the vote
