Free Spring Health Fest set for Saturday

The Association of Haitians Living Abroad for Development will be hosting its Spring Health Fest in partnership with Florida Blue at the Immokalee Sports Complex, 505 Escambia St., in Immokalee on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The public is invited to this free event, where attendees will be celebrating with live entertainment, Dancehall Fitness, Soccer Challenge, 3D Mammogram Screening, Health Screening, Haitian and Mexican Food and Kiss My Ice Snow Cones, a Kid’s Zone, and more. Bring the whole family and your neighbors for a day filled with healthy choices. Attendees can look forward to iPad and phone giveaways, free dry food from the Midwest Food Bank, opportunities for free enrollment in health insurance, including Medicaid, a variety of vendors, and much more.

AHVED is proud to partner with several organizations, including Florida Blue, Best Insurance USA, Sante Plus Medical Center, Godoy Law, P.A., VaxTruths, Radio Evolution Inter 88.3 FM, and the Midwest Food Bank to make this event possible.
